Weekend in Duluth

We spent the weekend in Duluth. Here are some pics of Alex...

Duluth has a very cool playground area for kids. It's a HUGE wooden structure with plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. Some of the passageways are too small for me to get through - I started, then realized I could easily get stuck. Alex thought the independence part was pretty cool. Here is Pam getting some sunscreen on Alex as we get ready to play:


We discovered about 2 weeks ago that Alex can hold himself up. He found these bars that are at the correct height, and had a lot of fun swinging around:



I like this picture of Alex looking at me. He is having a lot of fun exploring!



He is making his way down the stairs, and pauses to consider the implications of the current economic situation in the US. Or maybe just thinking about what to go explore next?



Alex discovered sailboats, and boats in general on this trip. Here Pam is walking back with Alex after walking over to look at the boats on the lake:
